Oliver Double performing Diabetes-Related, Florida, 2011
Here's me performing a tight 30 on type-1 diabetes at Friends For Life in the Florida Disney resort. I was on about 9:30am in a hall big enough to assemble an aircraft in, to an audience of about 2000 people, who'd just had breakfast.

Brilliant! Cheers!
this is the original Bette's daughter. She could not use her arm muscles, so had to do one handed cart wheels.
I'm just always amazed at how well they play, how tight they are as a group, and how much fun they appear to be having while obviously working so hard. How does a novelty band slap so much? Their music is legitimately good.
Love this Ollie ❤️
"And of course there was Paul. When I met him, he had two ruling passions in his life: the maintenance of his physique, and the novels of Jane Austen. In fact, he had the plot of Pride & Prejudice tattooed over every inch of his body. He was really exciting bedtime reading. Mind you with Paul it wasn't so much a relationship, more a serial. But I did get a kick out of seeing Darcy propose to Elizabeth Bennett via the pectorals. And then one day, whether out of vanity or personal hygiene - I don't know - he got himself circumcised, and I lost the thread of the narrative. I'm on my own now really." Met Bernard in the mid-80s and rented a room in his flat for a while, feel lucky to have spent some time in his company. A very gifted and funny person. This definitely gives a flavor of his surreal humor.
Love it.
Next time please call also a calligrapher to write the lyrics during the reading 🤣
That’s fantastic, it made me smile.
What year was this? 1950's?
Can see young eddy ,with his moptop ,down at BHS , former jobseeker ,then off home to watch mork and Mindy , be on the TCR in Second ,the jolly fucker
Class.
❤❤❤
he's alright!!
WKB every time! Brilliant.
Thank you Josie! So incredibly well said. I am so happy you exist in this world x x Thank you for Arts Emergency, you are an incredible human and let's have hope that we can keep rocking in the free world xx
I think people were more easily pleased then maybe more naive. I love Wilson Keppel and Betty but the rest of it is embarrassing
One of the artists had the german name Bamberger. I , german, remember a german TV Clip from 1950s/ early 1960s: Aren't you Mr. Bamberger? Where a man annoys a stranger with the question: You really aren't Mr. Bamberger?
Как все убого и безвкусно...печалька
Как это прекрасно!
Well some of them would had won The Talent shows.
real horse faces
As a child ,I loved the sound of the musical saw
good job Eddy, Sleaford Mods are amazing.
No wonder they all happily went off to war, getting shot at was better than watching that lot.
all that orchestrated sound, coordinated movement, and boundless talent... Not the product of syncopated A.I.! To young folks today, that might seem unbelievable, but raw talent was once enjoyed before it became duplicated, scripted, manufactured, bottled and bombarded on you by marketers. Those were the days.
Today Britain got no talant
So much real talent back then.
No great talen nowadays.
Tied up in notts
Would love to hear him do " Chop chop chop"!!
Fantastic
EDL can go to hell, Rah rah rah. Nice one Pops.
Fantastic Eddy!!!
Bless, nice one
My late father's cousins used to run all these shows
Wonderful! Some real talent there. My grandfather owned a couple of dance halls and would have various "turns" booked. They could tour the country and by the time they had done the whole circuit the audience where they had started had forgotten their act. So they could do the same thing every nigh more or less as long as they were capable. Of course TV came along and killed all that.
Wonderful
"Cheer up, you fucking bastard", ah, pure poetry.
It sounds like poetry when Eddy speaks the words.
to be fair, it is poetry. urban poetry spoken with the vitriol and cadence of a machine gun and the anger of a thousand hooligans. that's the beauty of the mods imo
Lmao brilliant!!!
What a god damn delight!
"its alright" <3
Man I love this so so much
pity they didn't have modern music to tap to , would have been even more spectacular!
I remember seeing the Hoosier Hot shots in ROCKIN' IN THE ROCKIES with the Three Stooges from 1945. They performed a song called WHAHOO a country and western song that became a great favorite of mine.
I came across Wilson & Keppel in a feature film here on YT. At least they made it to the big screen!
Lyrical Geniuses
